Recess Mounted

Recess mounted hand dryers are designed to be recessed into the wall by their manufacturer. These ADA-compliant recessed hand dryers will include a separate wall box with the hand dryer, which is installed when the rough opening is made during construction or renovation. Wall boxes for recess mounted hand dryers do not need to be purchased separately, and are part of the complete recessed unit. The recessed dryer box is framed into the wall and anchored to the supporting wall studs. The electrical wiring is run through the wall box, and connected to the hand dryer. The actual drying unit is secured to the wall box. These are ADA compliant hand dryers and will save space by protruding less than 4” from the wall.
